Identity

WEER (which means health or well-being in Wolof, the most spoken language in Senegal) is the story of Majhtar and Hervé Seck, Franco-Senegalese twin brothers. Driven by their passion for physical training and sports, specifically association football and basketball, they decided to combine their talents and skills to serve athletes. Today, we train and advise elite athletes throughout their physical training and conditioning process.

Philosophy

We customize our approach to each athlete to make sure their athletic abilities improve consistently and their career lasts the longest. Our approach combines a European sports culture's emphasis on training effectiveness and load management, with North America's focus on work ethic and effort.

We assess each athlete’s specific needs, which allows us to offer customized guidance and monitoring specific to each player's profile, relying on the scientifically grounded training principles.

Services

Our role is to guide and support each of them when it comes to physical training, recovery, lifestyle, and anything else that can impact their physical condition. We develop and adjust our players' individual training programmes to optimize the work put in at each session, without losing sight of the most crucial objective: peak performance when it counts most.

Our services include but are not limited to:

 
  • Individual* physical training during the offseason

  • Injury-recovery conditioning

  • Individual* physical training during the season

  • Guidance and monitoring over the player’s lifestyle practices

 
*We offer both one-on-one and small group training sessions. In both cases, we customize our training programmes for each and every athlete.
